Inquiry finds Mashhood scandal video fabricated
LAHORE: An inquiry committee tasked to probe Punjab Law Minister Rana Mashhood’s video scandal has cleared the accused from charges leveled against him.
According to the committee findings, the video is fabricated and it is made by joining different shots.

The video also failed to define the context, the committee report stated. 

Mashhood had to take back his own money from Asim Malik, it added.

A video was leaked on media which showed that Punjab Law Minister Rana Mashhood allegedly seeking bribe on behalf of the Punjab chief minister.

On the directives of Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, a three-member committee was constituted which included Raja Zafarullah Haq, Senator Rafique Rajwana and Begum Zakia Shah Nawaz.

The committee would present its report to the chief minister. -Samaa
